We need 4 more members to form a Toastmasters Club in Anchorvale CC!
We were invited by the Anchorvale CC grassroot leaders to share the benefits of Toastmasters late last year and started to engage the residents at the Anchorvale CC Open House on 20 Dec 2009.
Subsequently, a Preview Meeting was organised after the Chinese New Year season on 6 Mar 2010; on that day, we have received 8 signed Toastmasters Membership applications, and I also understand that at this moment as I pen this writeup, there are another 8 coming onboard on 24 Apr 2010, our 1st Chapter Meeting at Anchorvale CC.

Toastmasters is about building speaking and leadership skills with time-tested methods !
Yes, we wish to expedite the chartering of the proposed Anchorvale CC Toastmasters Club and the earlier we accomplish that, the earlier we can achieve the following for the Club:
- We can obtain all the basic manuals which the members need without the hassle of photostating for every meeting
- Members start to receive the Toastmasters magazine every month after Charter
- Members can really get into 4th gear of learning public speaking or otherwise, we have to spend some time at every meeting to convert prospects into Charter Members which we need now
If you can make time on every 4th sat of the month,
we encourage you to join us at Anchorvale CC in our learning laboratories in public speaking.
Other things which you may be interested to know:
- Once you are a member of one Toastmasters Club, you are permitted to visit other clubs i.e. if you miss Anchorvale CC meeting, you can make up else where if you wish
- You work on the educational program at your pace
- There is no examination!
- All visiting Toastmasters, who are helping the Club, are 100% volunteers and all of us are not paid.
- Toastmasters is a 100% non profit Organisation
