DIVISION A GOVERNOR’S CITATION

First of all, thanks to Div A Advisor Chee Kim Loon (Chairman, Awards Selection Committee) for working on the details of the Division A Governor’s Citation Awards.

The Citation is an addition to the current Distinguished Club Program (DCP). Clubs are encouraged to excel in achieving the DCP. As such the selection criteria are extension to the DCP.

A. Club of the Year

• Eligibility: All clubs in Division A
• To recognise clubs which perform beyond the DCP.

Selection Criteria:

1. 1 pt for every 2 CCs
2. 1 pt for every AC
3. 1 pt for every CL/AL/DTM
4. 1 pt for every 4 new members
5. 1 pt for every growth of 2 members
6. 1 pt for every club mentor or sponsor
   There is no cap for each item above. The result will be based on the End-of-Term District Performance Report at TI website.
7. 1 pt for District Officer for term 2010/2011
8. 1 pt for club representation at District Council Meeting (based on the attendance from District Secretary)
9. 1 pt for Contest representation at Division and District level (Max 3 points)

B. Best New Performing Club

• Only Clubs from Division A which were chartered between 1st July 2008 and 30th June 2010 are eligible
• To recognise new clubs which achieve excellence within the first 2 years

Selection Criteria same as “Club of the Year”

C. Most Improved Club

• Eligibility: All Clubs in Division A chartered before 1st July 2009
• To recognise weak clubs which put in effort to grow

Selection Criteria:

1. 1 pt for every growth of 2 members
2. 1 pt for every growth of 1 CC
3. 1 pt for every growth of 1 AC/CL/AL/DTM

Result will be based on the 2009/2010 End of Term Result as compared 2008/2009 End of Term Result
