Message from the Division Governor

District 80 Division A Governor Yeo Chai Tun

EXCITING NEXT Lap!

1st July every year marks a new beginning. The clock is somewhat reset, and for the new term, we will be doing what we can to improve on our communication and leadership skills all over again. It’s all about practice, practice, practice and becoming better and better.

Toastmasters in the 25 Division A clubs are also excited with a new phase – the formation of a new Division! Division A comprises clubs from a few existing divisions and new relationships will be forged. This is an excellent opportunity for us to to walk our talk and prove that the Toastmasters mission holds through despite the change.

How can we breeze through the next lap together?

Together, let us ensure that we provide a mutually supportive learning environment for members in our clubs.

If everyone of us simply do our part in a selfless manner; everyone of us just a wee bit more and every one of us improve and progress at a pace at which we are comfortable in, then the vision of Toastmasters International will be fulfilled.

  • If you encounter any problem or uncertainty, do approach your club officers.
  • If your club officers are unable to help, talk to your Area Governor or Division Governor.

We will do what we can, and if need be, we will tap on the resources of the district.

The recipe for success is actually quite SIMPLE, and it has been well tested and proven: Remember, RENEW YOUR PROMISE and you will ACE your PROMISE.

For those who have just joined us recently, let me assure you that in Division A, you will never walk alone in your Toastmasters journey.

For those who have been with Toastmasters for a while, let me wish you another fruitful term ahead!

Warmest regards

Yeo Chai Tun DTM
Division A Governor
